What do you publish?
Fiction for children
I have a special interest in picture books and young adult fiction, but I also love quality junior fiction and mid-grade works in all genres. I’m all about instilling a love of reading in our children and providing opportunities for imagination sprinkled with a touch of learning.
My expertise and passion lie in paranormal, supernatural and horror fiction. I love character-driven Australian historical fiction and a good dose of mystery. Quirky short stories also float my boat. If your story is multi-genre — even better!
Memoir, business stories and interviews are my favourites when it comes to editing. Anything with an education theme is going to bring my personal experience to the table. A topic that gets kids excited will usually have the same impact on me.

How do I work?
It is all about collaboration and communication.
My preference is to have an initial discussion with you as the publisher. This is a great opportunity to see if we are a good fit and to chat about expectations, particularly when it comes to education resources.
I am happy to provide more information about my services and experience when it comes to editing and the production of education materials.
Why do I do this?
Through my memberships with the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Australian Society of Authors (ASA), the Australian Writers’ Centre (AWC) and the ACT Writers Centre, I am incredibly lucky to be able to connect with a range of authors and illustrators — many of whom I am honoured to feature in my Author and Illustrator Showcase.
Being part of this creative community is like living in a magical realm. Whether it’s collaborating with individual authors to help make their books the best they can be, writing amazing teaching notes to accompany their stories, or assisting authors and illustrators to develop engaging school or community presentations — bringing words out into the world is simply the best.
It doesn’t matter if you’re published or just starting your writing journey — all authors need assistance at some point.
