Connecting authors & illustrators with students and teachers
and
Sharing author and illustrator hints and tips with schools

What is Write Angles?
Write Angles is all about connecting authors with schools and igniting a love of reading and writing in young minds and hearts.
The primary goal of Write Angles is to support authors and illustrators to promote their work in our local education institutions and share their vast knowledge and insights with students and teachers.

Why should I join Write Angles?
As a member of Write Angles, you will no longer have to worry about the administrative side of author/illustrator talks, nor will you have to navigate the Australian Curriculum to create teaching materials and activities. Above all, you can focus on what you do best, leaving the other tasks (which I do best) to me.

I know the curriculum and how to apply it.
I know schools and how they operate.
I know what teachers and students want and need.
I’ve had over 26 years of experience in the classroom and presenting workshops to teachers through a number of forums. Being born in Canberra, and with the majority of my professional life in ACT schools, means I have the necessary connections in our education system. My knowledge of Google technology, social media marketing and workshop presentation via podcasts and YouTube has been bolstered by my connections with experts in these fields.
